This used to be a loaf of organic raisin bread made locally grown flour from the farm about an hour from us where we also get our raw milk. Kelly got it as a treat for me, and accidentally left it in the car, where the dog found it. He liked it, as you can see. The only problem is that raisins are very dangerous for dogs, and Vaughn was promptly taken to the emergency vet.
He seems to be doing ok, but has to go back to the vet for two more follow-ups to make sure. I haven’t had any of the bread yet, even though there’s a good quarter that hasn’t been gnawed on. I don’t know, I think it’s going to be organic local whole wheat food for the birds and squirrels.
